Architectural Review Request

Approval Required Before Work Begins

All exterior modifications to your unit must be approved in writing by the Architectural Committee before any work starts. Unapproved changes may need to be reversed at the homeowner’s expense.

What Requires Approval?

If anyone outside your unit can see it, you probably need approval. Common examples include:

  • Exterior paint or stain color changes
  • Window, door, or screen-door replacements
  • Patio, deck, or balcony modifications
  • Satellite dishes, antennas, or exterior wiring
  • Awnings, shutters, or exterior decorations
  • Fencing installation or modification
  • Landscaping changes in limited common areas
  • Any other change to the exterior appearance of your unit

Not sure if your project needs approval? Ask first — it’s always easier than fixing a problem afterward.

How the Process Works

  1. Submit your request using the form below. Include photos, sketches, color samples, or product specs — the more detail, the faster the review.
  2. Committee review. The Architectural Committee reviews submissions within «14 business days».
  3. You’ll hear back via email with an approval, a request for more information, or an explanation if the request is denied.
  4. Begin work only after written approval.
  5. Some projects require a completion inspection — the committee will let you know in advance.

Tips for a Smooth Approval

  • Review the Architectural Guidelines in the Document Library before submitting
  • Include clear, well-lit photos of the current condition
  • Attach product data sheets or manufacturer specs when possible
  • Provide exact paint color names and codes
  • Submit well before your planned start date to allow time for review
