Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Canyon Creek Ridge Condominiums community portal (“portal”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.
Eligibility
The portal is available to:
- Current Canyon Creek Ridge homeowners
- Current residents (tenants) with homeowner authorization
- Board members and committee members
- VMS Management Services personnel
You must be at least 18 years old to register for an account.
Account Responsibilities
When you create an account you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete information and keep it up to date
- Safeguard your password and not share credentials with anyone
- Notify VMS Management immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
Accounts that violate these terms or contain false information may be suspended or terminated without notice.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the portal lawfully and respectfully. You will not:
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, or harassing content
- Post offensive, obscene, or threatening material
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the portal
- Distribute spam, solicitations, or commercial advertising
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law
Content
User-Generated Content
When you post content (forum posts, comments, form submissions), you:
- Retain ownership of your original content
- Grant the HOA a non-exclusive license to display it within the portal
- Warrant that you have the right to post it
- Accept full responsibility for what you publish
HOA Content
Documents, announcements, and other materials published by the HOA, Board, or VMS Management are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice.
Moderation
We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any user content that violates these terms, without prior notice.
Intellectual Property
The portal’s design, logo, and original content are the property of Canyon Creek Ridge Condominiums HOA. You may not copy, modify, or distribute portal content without written permission.
Privacy
Your use of the portal is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
THE PORTAL IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, Canyon Creek Ridge Condominiums HOA, its Board, VMS Management Services, Inc., and their respective officers, agents, and volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the portal.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canyon Creek Ridge Condominiums HOA, its Board, VMS Management Services, Inc., and their agents from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the portal or violation of these terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your portal access at any time, with or without cause.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas.
